Help would be greatly appreciated thanks ?

It's a hardware defect affecting pixel devices produced before Jan 2017. It would eventually happen to the phones produced in 2016 and there's no way to tell when it would happen. Only fix is to change the motherboard. If you're able to return the phone and then do it.

Information technology's a hardware defect affecting pixel devices produced earlier January 2017. If y'all're able to render the phone and so do it.

Unfortunatly I bought a second hand pixel and did not know this effect until I tried to use audio. I'm trying to repair it myself and I read in some other forum that replacing the headphone jack or the mic/speakers would solve the problem. Practice I need to buy another mother board and replace it with the current ane I accept right now?

I personally take not washed any such procedure so would let someone else answer. What I could do is to identify when your phone was produced to narrow down if that could be the event. If that's the same so the motherboard needs changing and you lot might but notice a browbeaten up working pixel for inexpensive and effort swapping the parts unless you find the motherboard for inexpensive though. Could become to settings>organisation>about phone>status>serial number. Requite is the 5 first characters. Mine is FA77M. I could read from this that it's produced in taiwan on the 21st-07-2017.

FA6A6 - Produced in Taiwan Taoyuan B factory - 2016-October-sixth
FA69H - Produced in Taiwan Taoyuan B factory - 2016-September-17th
FA69G - Produced in Taiwan Taoyuan B manufacturing plant - 2016-September-16th

From what I sympathise, all devices produced in January 2017 and subsequently should have this event fixed. Pixels fabricated in 2016 is pretty much a ticking "bomb"... anytime the consequence will occur. I personally would stay abroad from the devices you mentioned. If you find a device with the third graphic symbol being 7 so you should be safe. My device is FA77M which reads - Produced in Taiwan Taoyuan B manufactory - 2017-July-21st, which should exist safe.

From what I sympathize, all devices produced in January 2017 and after should accept this issue stock-still. Pixels made in 2016 is pretty much a ticking "flop"... someday the result will occur. I personally would stay away from the devices yous mentioned. If you find a device with the third graphic symbol being vii and then y'all should exist safe. My device is FA77M which reads - Produced in Taiwan Taoyuan B factory - 2017-July-21st, which should be safe.

I have a nov 2016 pixel and uBreakiFix (canada & U.s., but I did it through Canada) replaced the motherboard free of charge even 8 months outside of my warranty period.

I'd consider going to them.

Unfortunately I bought it second hand and I don't have the receipt ( I alive in Sydney btw), then even if I did go to my local ubreakifix I don't know if they'll set information technology for me.

Audio and microphone stopped working about 1 month ago.
Information technology stopped working on Telephone (the local Google app), WhatsApp, Skype & HangOuts.
I could all the same hear podcasts and music and YouTube. Though I did notice that bluetooth and wired headphones with microphones didn't appear to work.

I tried Safe Manner.
The outcome still occurred.

I did a complete Factory reset of the phone.
The issue yet occurred.

I have but installed the apps that I utilise constantly, which includes WhatsApp and Hangouts.
The issue still occurs with bluetooth and wired headphones.

Like Issue, just I doubtable MindTheGapps or Lineage Update

My sons Pixel has similar issues. It started around August.
During Calls he could listen only the mic did not work. Then in Whatsapp and Youtube app videos would non play, while the same videos from youtube played fine in the Browser app.
Ordinarily after restart information technology works until Spotify crashes the phone, or at least Spotify was active while the telephone crashed. Why comes MindTheGapps with pre-installed Spotify anyway? After install from Playstore in that location are ii versions on the phone.
Sometimes after a hard telephone crash, mic and speaker work for a while, also a short time after manufactory reset (until Spotify, Youtube and Whatsapp are reconfigured), and so mic and speaker stop to piece of work once more. Sometimes the Speaker works for a longer menses simply the mic does non.
Sometimes at that place is a bulletin that the system process has stopped responding and if I desire to stop it or wait. After the adjacent phone crash this message disappears.
Its hard to believe that this is a hardware consequence, while the phone falls into the manufacturing dates of the reported motherboard issues.
Side by side matter I am going to try is to apply OpenGapps and if that does not help, revert to Stock ROM. Maybe this resolves the issue.

Thanks.
